How To Apply -

-   An RTI request may be addressed or submitted to CPIO on a plain paper or through rtionline.gov.in [1]in English or Hindi along with the requisite fee.

Application Fee & Further Fee -

-  The requisite application fee and further fee amount will be as prescribed under RTI Fee Rules, 2012.

Mode of Payment of Fee –

- The fee may be remitted through any mode of payment prescribed in RTI Fee Rules, 2012.

- The fee may be payable to the authority prescribed in RTI Fee Rules, 2012 or to ‘Director General’ while applying for information from New Delhi office;

Whereas, in case of Regional Office/ Centre, the fee will be payable to ‘ Drawing & Disbursing Officer’ of the respective Regional Office/ Centre to which the request is being submitted.
