Subject:-Supply of Chairs & Tables to the National Archives of India.

Call for Quotation

Sealed quotations are invited for the supply of Chairs & Tables as per following specifications to this department on Rate Contract Basis during 2015-16. The sample of Chairs & Tables (specimen) is available in PR-I section of the Department.

Chairs (Ordinary)

1. Steel - base with chrome coating
2. Back & seat of the chair should be made-up of foam with Rexene cover.

Chair (Executive)

1. Steel - base with chrome coating
2. Back & seat of the chair should be made-up of foam with Rexene cover.
3. Fitted with hydraulic up & down system.

Tables

1. Wooden top.
2. Steel base with powder coating.
3. Size-54’’ x30” inches.
4. Height- 30’’ inches.
5. Drawers- 3 Drawers on single size.

The quotation for Chairs & Tables will be received by the undersigned in person or under registered cover up to 12 noon on 21-09-2015 and will be opened on the same day at 3 p.m. in the presence of those dealers or their representatives who happen to be present at that time.

The quotation should bear the superscription “Quotation for Chairs & Tables due on 21-09-2015.

Terms & Conditions

1. The Chairs & Tables should be as per specifications mentioned in the Call for Quotation.
2.  Sample specimen of the Chairs & Tables may be seen in Pr-I section of National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi, on any working day from 11.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
3. The rates quoted by the firm should be valid upto 31-03-2016, and the firm is bound to supply the material, from time to time as required during the whole financial year 2015-16.
4. There will no minimum quantity for placing any order for supply of goods.
5. The final acceptance of the quotations rests with the Director General of Archives who is not bound to accept the lowest rate of quotation received without assigning any reason thereof.
6. In case your quotation is accepted the goods will have to be supplied within 30 days from the date of placing a firm order at the premises of this department at Janpath, New Delhi, free of Delivery charges.
7. The firm would likewise ensure the supply of requisite quantity of goods, within 30 days from the date of placing a firm order during entire period of Rate Contract, i.e. up to 31 march 2016.
8. The quotations which do not fulfill all or any of the above conditions or are incomplete in any respect are liable to rejection without further reference to the tenderers.
9. Payment only after checking of Chairs & Tables in terms of quantity & quality.
10. The rate of VAT being charged by Government should be specifically mentioned. If not specifically mentioned, no tax will be payable.
