The Section has been entrusted with the responsibility for organizing foundation day celebration of the National Archives of India every year. On the occasion of 125^th Foundation day, National Archives of India has organized the curtain riser which was formally inaugurated by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of Culture on 11 March 2015. During  the year long celebrations, various activities, including monthly lecture series by eminent scholars, mounting of exhibition, release of publications, commemorative coin/stamp and emblem with moto/tagline were implemented in coordination with other sections of the department.
